With the development of Chinese digital technology, self-service terminals are used in many places, such as, cinemas, hospitals, banks, large supermarkets, and so on. They provide various services such as inquiry, printing, payment, product sales, etc. and can service 24 hours without guard. It has been widely used in transportation, finance, government, medical, industrial and commercial, taxation and other industries.

In the field of telecommunications, in 2014, the number of self-service terminal equipment of the three major operators was about 205,000. According to conservative estimates, by 2022, the number will exceed 930,000.

In the banking market, according to the current number of major bank outlets, the demand  of offline self-service terminals and updates, the annual demand for self-service machines of Chinese banks will be around 200,000 in the next 2-5 years. If we assume an increase of 100,000 per year, by 2021, the number of bank self-service terminals in China will reach 1.53 million.

As for medical market, because of people’s understanding of self-service terminals operations, Chinese health care is also accelerating. Up to the end of August 2015, the number of hospitals nationwide has exceeded 30,000. If large hospitals are equipped with 3-5 automatic registration machines, according to this trend, by 2022, the number of self-service terminals in the medical field will exceed 300,000.
