A Capacitive Touch Panel consists of cover glass, sensor and LCD and there are 2 kinds of sensor: glass sensor or film sensor.

At present, the mainstream capacitive touch screen design in the market are using COF structure, but exists another one called COB. Then what’s difference between these two?

COB: The chip is on the controller and connected to the FPC .

COF: The chip is welding on the FPC and directly connected to the motherboard.
