Description

Floor-Standing Self-Service Ticket Kiosk with Cash Payment

KER Floor-Standing Self-Service Ticket Kiosk is an unattended ticketing and payment terminal developed for amusement parks, indoor playgrounds, arcades, water parks, tourist attractions and family entertainment centers.

Visitors can use the touchscreen to select admission tickets, timed sessions, play packages, game credits or other venue services. After payment is completed using banknotes, coins or optional cashless payment methods, the kiosk can print a physical ticket, payment receipt, queue number or QR code voucher.

Compared with a desktop ticket kiosk, the floor-standing model provides more internal space for larger cashboxes, coin modules, ticket printers and other peripherals. Its stable freestanding structure is suitable for entrances, ticket halls, reception areas and other high-traffic commercial environments.

The cabinet, cash modules, ticket format and software workflow can be customized according to the venue’s ticketing platform and operating requirements.

Self-Service Ticket Purchasing

The kiosk allows visitors to complete ticket purchases without waiting at a staffed counter.

A typical transaction process may include:

  1. Select a language
  2. Choose the required ticket or package
  3. Select ticket quantity or session time
  4. Confirm the order and total amount
  5. Select a payment method
  6. Insert banknotes or coins
  7. Receive change if the configured modules support it
  8. Collect the printed ticket, receipt or QR voucher
  9. Scan the ticket at the entrance or present it to staff

The transaction workflow can be customized according to the venue’s software and ticket-validation process.

Flexible Ticket and Package Sales

The kiosk can be configured to sell different products, including:

  • Adult and child admission tickets
  • Single-entry tickets
  • Family packages
  • Timed-session tickets
  • Full-day passes
  • Ride packages
  • Game-credit packages
  • Membership packages
  • Event tickets
  • Food and service vouchers
  • Promotional or holiday packages

Ticket prices, package availability and validity periods can be managed through the connected ticketing system.

Banknote and Coin Payment

The kiosk can integrate banknote and coin modules for unattended cash payment.

Available functions may include:

  • Banknote denomination recognition
  • Counterfeit banknote detection
  • Coin denomination recognition
  • Accepted-denomination configuration
  • Real-time inserted-amount display
  • Cashbox-full warning
  • Low-change warning
  • Jam and fault detection

The supported currency and denominations depend on the selected banknote and coin devices.

Optional Automatic Change

Depending on the project requirements, the kiosk can be configured in two operating modes.

Exact-payment mode

The customer inserts the exact payable amount, and the machine does not return change.

Automatic-change mode

Coin hoppers, coin recyclers, banknote recyclers or dispensing modules can be installed to return excess payment automatically.

Possible configurations include:

  • Coin-only change
  • Small-banknote change
  • Combined banknote and coin change
  • One or multiple change denominations
  • Configurable payout priority
  • Low-cash and empty-module alerts

The final change method must be confirmed according to the target currency, ticket prices and expected transaction volume.

Ticket and QR Code Printing

The integrated thermal printer can produce:

  • Admission tickets
  • QR code tickets
  • Payment receipts
  • Queue numbers
  • Session confirmations
  • Pickup vouchers
  • Game-credit vouchers
  • Promotional coupons
  • Customer service information

A 58mm or 80mm printer can be selected according to ticket width, paper-roll capacity and printing requirements.

Printed QR codes can be verified by access gates, handheld scanners or ticket-validation terminals.

QR and Barcode Scanning

An optional scanner can support:

  • Online ticket redemption
  • Mobile booking verification
  • Coupon redemption
  • Membership identification
  • Reservation-code scanning
  • Ticket reprinting
  • Pickup-code verification

This allows the kiosk to support both on-site ticket sales and online order collection.

  • Credit and debit cards
  • Contactless NFC payment
  • QR code payment
  • Mobile wallets
  • Prepaid cards
  • Membership cards
