Description

Hotel Self Check-In Kiosk with Key Card Dispenser and Detachable Stand

KER Hotel Self Check-In Kiosk is a modular hospitality terminal designed for hotels, resorts, serviced apartments, hostels, capsule hotels and other accommodation properties.

The kiosk enables guests to complete essential arrival procedures independently, including reservation lookup, identity verification, guest information confirmation, payment and automatic room key card collection.

A major advantage of this model is its detachable floor stand. The upper service terminal can be installed on the base as a complete floor-standing kiosk or removed and placed on a reception counter as a desktop check-in terminal.

This flexible structure makes the machine easier to pack, transport, install and relocate while allowing hotels to choose the most suitable deployment method for each property.

The kiosk can connect with the hotel’s Property Management System, reservation platform and door-lock card encoding system according to the project requirements.

Detachable and Modular Structure

The removable base provides two installation formats using the same upper terminal.

Floor-standing deployment

Suitable for:

  • Hotel lobbies
  • Unattended reception areas
  • Self-service zones
  • Late-night check-in points
  • High-traffic entrance areas

Countertop deployment

Suitable for:

  • Existing reception desks
  • Small hotels with limited floor space
  • Trial installations
  • Temporary reception areas
  • Staff-assisted check-in

The modular structure provides several practical advantages:

  • Easier international transportation
  • Reduced packing volume
  • More flexible on-site installation
  • Convenient relocation between hotel areas
  • Lower redesign cost when deployment conditions change
  • Easy conversion between floor-standing and countertop use

The stand design, mounting points and cable routing can be customized according to the project.

Guest Self Check-In

Depending on the connected software and hotel workflow, guests can complete the following steps:

  1. Select a language
  2. Enter a reservation number or scan a booking QR code
  3. Retrieve the reservation
  4. Scan a passport or identity document
  5. Confirm guest and stay information
  6. Pay the room balance or authorize a deposit
  7. Confirm or receive a room assignment
  8. Encode and collect the room key card
  9. Print a receipt and hotel information

The exact check-in process can be adjusted according to the PMS, local guest-registration requirements and hotel operating rules.

The kiosk can integrate a hotel key card dispenser and encoder.

Possible functions include:
